I think these images have all been seen so much that people have become immune to them. As for children – there is nudity in many billboard ads and in schoolbooks in Europe. It is so sad how famous people’s images can become tat.
Understood. I’m not a prude – I tend to make value judgements when nudity is not on display in art or physiology. If it’s in schoolbooks, I’m sure there’s an approval process and am fine with that.
Who was the nude? Looked a bit like Rita Hayworth but she wasn’t known for posing nude. Paulette Goddard? or was it someone from a more modern era. Love the quirky idea of stars in strange places. Big fan of Sinatra so can never see enough pix of him
Thanks for that link – really tacky or what? I left a comment about having been in this pub once – but was warned later that this is where the ‘roughies’ go. I couldn’t imagine Ringwood having a rough crowd. – Sol
Interesting colours on the shoes. Shocking to see it disolayed where children might see it. Audrey’s photo – I have no words.

Marilyn was always embarrassed by that photo – I found it quite upsetting to see it sold with unwanted junk.

Its in the caption. This is quite a famous shot of Marylin Monroe before she became famous.

All very surreal, but lovely photos.

A good collection. You might be amused by this visit to Ringwood’s The Crown Tap three years ago: https://derrickjknight.com/2013/09/03/11200/
